Early Intervention 

Early intervention is a system of services that supports babies and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities. Early intervention focuses on helping them learn the basic skills that typically develop during the first three years of life such as crawling, walking, solving problems, communicating, playing, and eating. Services in early intervention can include occupational therapy, physical therapy, assistive technology, speech/language services, psychological services, and feeding therapy among others. 

Murfreesboro, TN - ACE Learning Center is an inclusive preschool for children ages 1 year to 5 years old. A developmentally appropriate environment is created where kids with and without disabilities learn and play together.

Locations: Clarksville; Nashville, TN - Autism Education & Therapy Center is a non-profit organization that provides a range of services for children and adolescents with autism. Their services include the following: ABA therapy, behavioral services, day therapy program (ages 2-10), parent training, and social skills training. 

Memphis, TN - The Barbara K. Lipman School has an early education program which offers several different learning theories in a full inclusive setting. 

Cookeville, TN - The Center of Development Pediatric Therapies is a comprehensive clinic that provides physical, occupational, and speech therapies, behavioral services, and specialized therapies for a variety of different disabilities. 

Nashville, TN - EHS is a year round program that addresses children's physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development. 

Oak Ridge, TN - Emory Valley Center is a voluntary education program through the Department of Education that offers services to children and their families to promote the child's development. 

Nashville, TN - First Steps provides inclusive child care as well as extended day programs. Programs include early intervention and educational services for children with disabilities and/or medical conditions, as well as kids who are typically developing. Therapies include; occupational, speech/ language, physical, feeding, and aquatic. 

Dickson, TN - Foundations Early Intervention Services provides in-home and community-based intervention services for children birth to 3 years old who have a disability or display a delay in speech, motor cognitive, social, or other learning skills. 

Cordova, TN - Hardwood Center is a year-round individualized educational services to children 18 months to 5 years old with a disability. Services include early intervention, developmental screening and evaluation, and behavioral services.
