Dear Friends of NF Tennessee,
We hope the new year is filled with joy and happiness for you and your family!!!
The Tennessee NF community had a big year in 2022. Despite the slowly fading Covid 19 pandemic, some in person activities thankfully started to resume. Things like the Vanderbilt Curb Center / NF Tennessee Art Workshop with Rachel Mindrup, the Memphis NF Walk / 5k Run, the Nashville Soccer Club outing, and the NF Tennessee Picnic were great community events.
The past year also brought the publication of our NF1 Resource for Teachers, continuation of the annual Laptop Giveaway Program, presentations at the Vanderbilt-CTF NF Patient and Family Symposium, the growth of new website features like Many Faces of NF in Tennessee, our zoom-based Virtual NF Tn Community Event, and other local resources for the Tennessee NF community which received tremendous community support through the Giveback Tuesday fundraising program.
We think 2023 will have even more options for getting out and doing things together, and for building new resources. Events to look forward to include:
